About Kiel
Kiel (pronounced Kyle) Reid is a small business owner and community leader who started his first business at 27. He now owns The Griffin’s Rest, a local gathering space in West Michigan. Kiel is running for State House to bring steady, practical, and results driven leadership to Lansing. He is focused on the affordability of life, protecting our lakeshore from data centers, and ensuring healthcare doesn’t bankrupt the families who need it.
No one said life would be easy, but it shouldn't be this hard.

Morning of Action – Grand Haven Area
Join Chris Kleinjans, Kiel Reid, and Hillary Scholten for breakfast at 9:00 am. The candidates will speak, then you’ll pick a Morning of Action activity to help get out the vote:
- Knock doors
- Make phone calls
- Write postcards to voters
We’ll wrap up around noon.
